JOHOR BAHRU: Fire and Rescue Department, Johor Bahru, today's resumption of the investigation to identify the cause of the fire in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) here.
Assistant Director of Operations, Mohd Rizal Buang said sample collecting work began at 8 am, in addition to recording a conversation witnesses.
"We are still gathering information from the scene, including taking witness statements that we investigate.
"There are various types of samples that we take fire, including objects that may be contributing to the fire for us analyzed in Fire Investigation Laboratory at the Headquarters of the State Fire and Rescue Department in Kangkar Tebrau," he told Bernama, here.
Mohd Rizal said he took over the fire scene ICU ward on the second floor of the main building HSA for investigating incidents that claimed six lives of patients in ICU.
"We quarantined area on the second floor ICU ward only for a week.
Other wards we have washing and has been operating as usual. "For this investigation, we have a total of eight members of the Headquarters of the State of Johor and Putrajaya," he said. - BERNAMA
